EXCEEDING THE LIMITS
Greetings South Holland School District 150 parents, guardians, businesses and community members. The Board of Education, administration and staff with your involvement developed a three-year strategic plan establishing our beliefs, mission, vision and district goals. It is time for us to revisit this strategic plan and make changes/revisions where needed. This process will occur early next school year. We are working diligently to provide the students with a quality education whereby they can compete and be successful in any local or global high school setting. With your involvement, we will meet our goals.
District 150 offers ongoing staff development training for our staff in order to keep abreast of current research and best practices in education. On a rotating basis, we are upgrading our textbooks and technology equipment. In addition to daily instruction and assessment, we offer academic support services, extended day and extended year programs for students in need of additional support. Outside of academics, we offer a myriad of extra curricula activities so students can display and grow their talents.
We encourage your continuous support and involvement in your child’s educational training. You are welcome to visit your child’s classroom, meet with staff, talk with the administration at any time and attend functions and programs planned for you and your child. If you have concerns, questions or words of encouragement, feel free to share them.
