I believe one of the main purposes for education is to provide students with a safe and stimulating environment that has appropriate materials and supports for students to thrive and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. This learning environment should give students an understanding of the world in which we live and encourage them to work towards solving world problems and becoming productive citizens. Elements that I believe are conducive to establishing such an environment involves the practices of (1) Professional Presence, (2) Planning and Preparation (3) Instructional Implementation and (4) Environmental Establishments. Educators possess a great power to influence; therefore have a great impact on student achievement and the shape of our future. I embrace the opportunity to serve as a lifelong learner and leader in education.
