"Teaching Children Outside the Lines"
I have been teaching children with special needs since 1983. I have been with District 150 since 1997 starting at McKinley and now at Greenwood. I graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelors Degree in Special Education and Regular Education. I also received my Master's Degree from Lewis University in the area of Educational Leadership. Teaching children to read and to understand what they have read is what I enjoy most about teaching. Every child has the potential to succeed, maybe not at the same speed or in the same ways; my job is to provide students with the necessary tools to be successful, lifelong learners.
