My name is Mrs. Benita Ingram and I have 23 years of experience as a Social Worker, 21 of which have been in District 150. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. As a School Social Worker, I assess home, school, personal, and community factors that impact a student's ability to learn. I then provide intervention strategies and treatment to students, teachers, and families. This includes counseling, case management, behavior management, and crisis intervention. Examples of psychosocial issues that I address include but are not limited to the following: anger management, conflict resolution, poor social skills, poor peer relationships, low self-esteem, depression, divorce, grief and loss.
