Dear Parents,

My name is Ms. Doval. I am pleased to take this opportunity to introduce myself, and welcome your child to my second grade class!

It is my belief that a good learning experience is built on a cooperative effort among parent, child, and teacher. You as the parent play a major role in helping your child reach the maximum of his or her potential. By working together, I believe we can all help your child become the best person possible- socially, emotionally and scholastically.

My expectations for conduct and academic standards are high. Your participation and encouragement in and out of the classroom will be major contributions to your child’s success this year.

Attention Parents: Your students will be bringing home an assignment, which needs to be completed at home.   It is in celebration of Black History Month.  We are asking students to complete a Lap Book showcasing a person of their choosing.  The assignment will be due February 9th.
